Our massive Victorian era steampunk thriller, Clockwork Watch, is on the verge of revealing some of its secrets, starting with the first part of the story – graphic novel, The Arrival.

The Arrival follows the journey of an influential Sikh family who have moved to England to help The Queen develop clockwork servants.

But how will this brave transplanted family deal with a world struggling with technological and social change amidst an atmosphere of prejudice and intolerance?

And what effect will this and the introduction of the new clockwork servants have on Britain – and a little boy who has been ripped away from his friends?

Magic of Myths: season two artwork

And now, the Magic...

Work on Magic of Myths: season two has begun in earnest, so while I write the script, Sergio is currently creating the designs for the new characters who will star in the book, and giving the established cast a little polish. Ok, on to Clockwork Watch…

As you may know, we broke our IndiGoGo funding target of $10,000 (thank you so much if you donated or supported us!) which meant we could go full steam ahead with our plans. A nice start, indeed.

The first step is to launch The Arrival – a graphic novel and the main opening of the Clockwork Watch story. I’m currently tweaking the script (as well as adapting the follow-up, Breakaway) while Jen works hard on the artwork. Clockwork Watch creator, Yomi Ayeni, has done a few entries, as has Jen and I’ve started some entries posts on the writing side of the project.

Yomi is having a lot of meetings about Clockwork Watch, which is likely to be the biggest project I’ve ever worked on, so expect a ton of information and news about this soon. If things start falling into place, you’ll see Clockwork Watch in a fair few locations in the coming months...
